I have been offered a silver mrk 1 polo in good nic with spare parts, with a coupe s engine in but the car does not have tax or test and has ben sitting in a garage. It also comes with a gt engine and wiring with a gas flowed head, shrick cam, induction kit, it has also been chipped. A spare gt gear box and many other spare parts of a crashed car. There are also some billstein shocks with eibach springs and two sets of alloys and tyres and a jetex exhaust system for £300. The guy will also deliver it all, but will not split as i wanted the mrk 3 parts but not the mark 1 as i have no room. Does any one think it is worth getting the parts then selling the mark 1(how much is the mark 1 worth?) and does anyone want to pick it up within the next couple of weeks from Gloucestershire

Do you mean everything there is £300 ? if so, then its a bargain !

For a start, the GT engine with flowed head, schrick cam, induction kit etc is worth it for that much anyway. The Mk 1 should sell, as they are becoming quite rare, as are the parts. You should be able to sell the coupe S engine too.

I would go for it.

Whent to have a look at the parts for sale and the car turned out to be a mrk 2 and was a pieace of s**t. The alloys were all s**t. He had the engine and all of teh other bits but i didn't know if teh engine was any good or not as i couldn't here it running. I didn't end up buying any of the bits, but i told him i might if he comes down on the price and i didn't want teh car.
