Pressed Plates, Are You A Fan?

Orderd some German rep pressed plates for the 6n today off
www.Dubmeister.co.uk I plan on using velcro stips or magnetic trips for easy plate swapping. Police have clamped down hard around mansfield.
So.. Are you a fan or them or not?

Defo a fan too, want to get a set of the legal plates dubmeister do, there's a dealer about 20 miles away who does 'em. Stick them in a nice set of surrounds, sweet as!

^^ the only legal plates dubmeister do is the ones with UK fonts, anything else is illegal.
Like them but i'm not too fussed and only would've swapped mine if there wasn't any policing issues with them. Never worth getting fines etc for I think. Furthermore, they're too common in scene anyway so its not much of a big deal to have them for me.

I like the look of the pressed plates. but iv been told that they arent legal because they arent reflective??? Is it worth takin the risk and putting these on me car seeing that im still in the R plates over here in N.Ireland?

I've got a set of pressed plates for shows. Mostly because the standard plates are scratched and horrible.

Mine will only be used for show's. To much of a police issue here. Yup, none reflective. Ahh well

They're illegal because of the font and font spacing.
You cna get pressed reflective plates (mine are).
I'd say take the risk, I do. I think they're a really important and image changing mod.

another issue cops have with pressed plate is
apparently in the event of an accident, the plate could bend or shatter leaving jagged edge's which'll hurt someone.
I think i'd be more hurt by the lump of metal behind the plate thanks

I think the real reason is for ANPR and speed camera purposes.

Thats ridiculous! lol, surely the plastic ones have just the same amount of chance into doing that also.
