Friday night in my house heard a loud bang, rushed out and saw a focus on its roof and my motor about 4 foot from where I parked it! I'm gutted, absolutly gutted!!!!! Bloke stank of booze, but I was pulled away from him by Police when trying to get details as he was injured (nevermind) now it looks like he aint even insured! My car was shunted back and rode up over another Polo parked behind me. My car also jumped the curb and onto the pavement. Thankfully there were witnesses - one of them being a neighbour who had just parked his bike seconds before pissed bloke turned up - he was seconds away from going under the focus.

Jesus christ! That proper sucks, really feel for you mate!

There's absolutely no justice in this world! Drink drivers who aren't insured are the worst scum of all!

A few years back an un-insured drunk driver pulled out of a pub car park and drove right into the side of my dads car as he drove past! There were witnesses and the landlord had already rang police to inform them a guy was about to drive after been kicked out of the pub for been that drunk! Police arrived and he got arrested, but then 2 weeks later he was back driving around!!!

Hope things get sorted for you!

gutted for you mate, really terrible news, only a shame the driver of the car was not hurt more, like needing his legs and arms chopping off, i hate drink drivers

Cheers guys for the comments. On a brighter note I found out where the bloke lives and waited for him to get back - to make sure he was ok obviously. Had a little chat with him and he was able to produce insurance details all of a sudden. Have been taking bits off it today and have my doubts if it will be written off. Hope to God it is though cause I dont want it back after that impact.

Thats shocking to see, damage looks pretty bad too, Heavy front impact, rear damage plus i assume the drivers side wheels were mashed against the kerb aswell??

I'd be hoping for a write off too.

Hope you get a decent payout with it being quite heavily modified, and get to strip it of all the good parts.

:(
