UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Hi all,
The car is a Volkswagen polo, 3 door hatchback, 1986 (mark 2) 1043cc.
1 owner from new.

Needs a new battery, possible new petrol tank, left outer sill and also has a slight gasket leak.
Was last mot'ed around 7months ago. It has 55,000 miles on the clock.

The car is in Marlborough and will need to be towed away.

or is it just best to scrap it!

probably worth either breaking and selling the good bits and then scrapping the rest!
this is what i did with our old mk2, sold things like the parcel shelf, rear lights, grille etc and then phoned the scrappies and they still gave us £100 to take it away!
