Whats the best way to free of the starter motor guys? Nedd to get it sorted so i can get home tomoro from work

Piece of wood threaded in from above the starter motor behind the throttle body and a stonking grea thammer...

Give the bugger a good few taps where it meets the gearbox.,..


I take it you mean that its spinning but not engaging? Rather than being jammed?


If its spinning but not engaging you proberably have a bent spiral shaft....not good!

the car will bump start and got it home today

When i turn the kry there is no click, and also a connector to the solonoid has cracked off

Sounds like you need a new starter motor in that case!
