i don't know if its been done to a 9n (probly has somewhere)

but i'm toying with the idea of getting my roof, wing mirrors, tints (light tints) and my alloys done black.

what people think?

i know it's going agains what i've been trying to do (get a nice all silver car lol) but i'm liking the idea

Black it! It's a little too silver at the moment IMO

i'm going to do it after inters and get it sorted for ed38 if i do it!!

only though about it today on way to work

i think i might get the vynle (sp?) or what ever it is (what the do signs on vans n that with) on first.

then if i like it i'll get it sprayed when i can afford it, if i dont i can take it off.

my alloys need a refurb, but i'm also wondering if 17" transporter alloys will fit

Well, one of the mark7 boys just got a uote of £260+vat for a vinyl roof. I dunno about you, but I wouldn't want to just remove that if I didnt fancy it!

If thats an average quote, then just get it sprayed, it'll be cheaper.

I reckon You could get the lot done for under £500

i though it would cost about 100 max for the roof to be covered

£100-200 for the roof, £200-250 for the wheels, and whatever for the mirrors - £30?

i'd do the wheels and mirrors myself.
i'd get new mirror cases as then i could swap back.

Definitely gloss. Mirrors would cheaper to get sprayed.

The black mirrors are black matt plastic, so they'd need spraying anyway to match the gloss black roof. Shouldn't cost more than £30 to get them sprayed.
