I'm leaving to go to Download Festival in a couple of hours. Me and some mates driving a mini bus from Aberdeen all the way to Derby basically. Crapping myself as I've never driven a mini bus before, bit bigger than a Polo

Should be a good laugh though

I'm back

Had a great time and will post some pics later. Ended up getting a brand new Zafira and managed to fit us all in, my mate just drove it there and back. Only about 7.5 hours driving, not bad!

Am I the only one who doesn't get this sh*t? "Yeh, let's gather round and push/punch/kick each other around to music!!". Jumping and some shoving near the front at gigs is a given and it's all good, but this IMO is just stupid and pointless.

It's good fun although I totally understand where you are coming from

Now I'm older I tend to not get involved as much

lol i agree, it's fun to leap around at the front, but why smack each other? Doesn't make sense to me. But there are some quality bands there, Ash and that, I'm a big Offspring fan that would have been cool

You do get odd arseholes who do actually hit people, that really pisses me off. Offspring were great, they had the crowd jumping for every song! Ash are a very underrated band and very good live (Kerrang gave them 2 K's, what a load of b*******s!)

Kiss were the best band you'd ever hope to see in your life. Even people who didn't like their music said it was the best thing they'd ever seen
