Another idiot causes damage to my car (well, sorta...)

Yes, less than a week after it came back from the bodyshop

Was following a group of cars along a give way road (theres aload of houses on one side so obviosly theres lots of cars) and I missed my chance to grab a space to give way to an E reg Audi 100 (this is a village road so quite narrow).

Anyway, the driver, instead of doing the decent thing of just letting me past (even though it was his right of way) he roars up the pavement (just in front of an old lady I might add at about 10mph) and nearly takes the o/s of my car out

Anyway, to avoid that happening I had to quickly tuck into the cars on my side of the road V. quickly and I just scrapped the front bumper and dented the n/s wing  Looks like its gonna be a filler job :x

I'm really not having much luck with this car :?

Anyway, on a sorta good note. I have ordered a rear speaker set from VW. I was also told I had an oil seal and cambelt on b/o for the last month and it has just come in, its good to know they tell you these things

If theres one thing I've learnt from my 7 months of driving is that i'm never to going to buy a new Polo again, never.....

Give me a MK4 Golf or Bora anyday though

Or, get a Mk5 GTI!

Sorry to hear about the mass of problems you've encountered so far... Hope your luck turns.

Sorry to hear that Nelson, mate.
:(
Still, instead of getting rid of the Polo, how about moving to a place with wider roads??

On a side note, how much was the rear set of speakers, as I might well do the same. :)

E reg Audi 100
Says it all, really.

"I don't care about the car I drive or the way I drive, why should anyone else?"

Not that I'm making sweeping generalisations or anything  but these days, I try to stay clear of anything that's obivously close to the end of its life. You know, the cars whose Tax Disc (assuming it has one  ) is worth about the same as the car itself!!

Sorry to hear about this. Look on the bright side though, at least you're actually able to drive yours. I'm still stuck in this Corsa. This one's worse that the last one I had - I didn't think that was possible (clutch is going at 3000 miles, but then it is a hire car!)!

Deek.

Doubles the value of the car when they fill it up with petrol type cars! I hate them, dirty A reg Fords driving round with no MOT and no tax, and therefore no Insurance. NICE!

Anyway, sorry to hear about it Nels, but it aint the cars fault, so dont get rid of it! :D
