Where to mount the amp?

Hi All
Need some ideas on where to mount my amp. This time, as I have leather, I dont want to be drilling into the seat backs, so where should I mount the amp.
Some people have suggested a false floor, others a false back for the seats that goes in front of the back made of MDF
Any ideas?
Cheers
Alex

how about, getting hold of some side panels for the boot, fiber glass them, mount your amp then blend the amp in for a smooth flush finish? just an idea, was what i was going to do before i decided to sell my car

I read one Polo owner's plans were to hide his amps behind the interior rear three-quarter panels (next to the rear bench). Is there even enough room in there?!

i have seen amps mounted there too, but does all depend on the size of the amp and how much you want to fiddle with the sound set up

This amp is huge. Here is a pic! ok seems its moved downstairs but its really big. Bigger than my existing one for sure.

You can fit them in the rear panels, Haris was half way through toying with it at Inters. I think you'd need to sort out some sort of cooling arrangements though.
Have a look at this for making false side Alex,

Obviously you'd keep it flush though, not carve a sub into it.

False floor is your easiest option, also you can build your sub box on top, But be warned, will be like having a person in the boot, so will lower a bit and also pain in the ass to get access to the Spare wheel Hole!
Not the best pic but you get the idea, if you actually look the polo's boot is very very deep! Especially when you look in the rear well.
my subs are out for the moment and the box in the hut, Wanted my boot back lol. I'd say make me an offer but would kill you in postage!

False floor I Think. MDF covered in carpet should do it shouldnt it?

Yep just make sure it's level and secure.
I'd get a fan or something for cooling it though. It woudn't be an issue if it were a mono amp but for a 4-channel speaker amp you'll need one

some 120mm coolant fans will do just fine

Ill put them underneath - one in one out that should be sufficient
