40,000 miles service?

My car's just done over 40k miles and is due a service. Just wondering what needs to be done?

If the cambelt hasnt been done, itll need to be. Oil, filters and possibly sparks will need doing.

Cambelt done last year .. that'll save me a few bob then :lol:

If you doing it yourself you can do alot for the same money you would pay a garage.

Your service guide will tell you what needs doing.

I do this myself with fully sync oil and cost under £200

Oil, Oil filter, Air Filter, Pollen Filter, Fuel Filter, Brake fluid change, Spark plugs, Ignition leads. Also check your disks and pads

I usually check the book, see what needs done when, check when each thing was last done, buy parts, do stuff I can do, get garage to do the rest
