Removing the "GTI" badges...?

Evening everyone,
I've removed my rear "VW" badge as it has gone away to be spruced up (i.e. colour-coded backing). So this weekend when cleaning the car I'm going to remove the old sticky pad that was holding it on!
Question is... do I remove my "GTI" badges, front
and rear, whilst I'm at it? I have already taken off the "POLO" badge, a long long time ago. I would quite like to remove the other badges to see what it looks like. I'm most certainly not binning them, they can go back on at any time if I fancy it
What do you think?
Hmmm... third option: can I get a classic-script "GTI" badge for my front grill like those fitted to the mk5 Golf GTI and mk7 Polo GTI? The rear one is simple to get, what about a front one that fits the standard 6N2 GTi meshed grille?
Cheers

I don't see why you would want to remove the GTI badges...
That what defines the car....remove those and immediately you just have a polo with a body kit on it....not my taste atall...
You paid the premium to buy the GTI...so why hide what it is!

Definately leave them on. I've always looked at it this way - if you remove the GTI badge, its almost as though you are ashamed its a GTI and want to hide it.
Keep it on, keep it proud!

like tegwin says without them it doesnt look like a gti, the majority of people (especially hotties) will no longer see it as a golf gti....just a golf..
to be honest i think the badges actually make the car look better....i will never remove a 'gti' or 'cupra' badge as i've earned the right to have a them

I personally prefer it without the rear GTi badge, as I felt that it just attracted attention from all the boy racers around my area, now without it I don't get as many people sitting on my arse.
I've still kept the GTi badge on the front though, for the identity reasoning.

yeah but imo by doing that you make it look a little like you've just stuck a gti badge on the front grill...
anyway i like little bastards sitting on my arse...just easy prey

Usually Redline flies past me on the A1 all the time, but then maybe it's because of my stupid style of driving.

I was thinking of getting rid of all my GTI badges and just leaving my VW badges. Less clutter

If i had a GTi i would leave the VW badges and the GTi badges on and just remove the Polo badge.
I would love to show off the fact that you own a GTi.
