i was coming home from a cruise tonight when my dashboard came loose!
it was rattling and making my cd player skip!!!
i would understand it if it had been off before but it aint!

any ideas to what it might be?

Sounds like some fixings have come loose. Check the two main nuts that are on the other side of the baulkhead, one above the battery the other above the fuse box. The other fixings are just screws inside, you might need to remove some bits like centre console and passenger lower storage tray to check they are tight.

you mean they aint meant to bang and rattle about???
