Alloy wheel

Folks,
I'm now having a 15" Melbourne, and my friend is selling a 17" Santa Monica for HKD3800 w/ new tyres (GBP 270), or i can buy in the Santa Monica first and exchange for 16" Montreal II w/ another friend.
Any info in the weight/ET of both wheels?
I'm concerning in both the performance/appearance.... whether i should take 16 or 17, any comments from u guys?
