After leaving my interior light on all night it's stopped working !
When i open the doors (both) the puddle lights come on, but the interior light will not work at all, even if it's switched to on. After locking the door i get the red flashing led, and if i open the door with the headlights on i get the buzzer, so i can assume that the micro-switch in the door is ok.
What i need to know is, has anyone had to buy one of the light units and how much are they ?

Have you checked the bulb?

Yeah, checked the bulb it's ok. Took the light out of the car, rubbed the electrical points on the back, put it back and it's working now ?

Does th 9N have footwell lights? If so, could have been referring to them

I dont have a clue mate, I've never been inside one, thats just what I thought of when a 'puddle light' was mentioned.

Go on, talk to us about your puddle lights - please! I've got them on the Passat but never thought about the Polo getting them.

Is mine the only 9n with Puddle Lights ??

Just a small light, bottom right hand corner of the door card. If i get chance tomorrow i'll post a picture, It's P***ing down right now.

Is that not just a reflector? How do you remove the festoon bulb from the interior light? It has blown the two map lights work but the festoon one in the middle has gone off.

i though it was a reflector..

not sure probly pull it, but don't incase i'm wrong.. lol

All I have in the bottom corner is a reflector like this
