yup!

I've been told to stick packets of silica gel or whatever it is in the back of the headlight

I get this problem time to time. to get rid of it, put a cloth over the headlamp and turn all bulbs on for a few minutes.

Like previously said, check screws and connections on the back.

I find I get it most on mine when it rains heavy and is still warm. And when I'm washing my car.

Soon as you notice it start coming back start the car up and put the lights on. If you get it in the early stages it goes far easier.
