head lights

i no this mite sound like a really stupid question BUT my side light has gone and i have no clue how to get the old bulb out and put in the new 1.

can u help pls. :lol:

have to take the bumper off I believe, which is why I still haven't replaced my high beam :roll:

Yup. Took mine to my local dealer and they charged £16 and had it done within 30 minutes (I supplied the bulbs) :)

Really? that doesn't sound too bad. VW were going to charge me £80 to replace a brake pedal switch which only cost £8!

just take off all the air feed and stuff you can then reach it. and on other side remove battery

Obviously you have never come into contact with a 6n2 with xenons.

I was just outside scratching my head on how to change my side light so did a search on how it's done. Was a bit peed off when I discovered the bumper had to come off... that was until I found this post!

i never took mybumper off when i done mine all i done was move all air feed and that from that side and the other side the battery the xeneons aswell only took 10 mins to do

its the best way never use a haynes manual they always tel you long and silly ways of doin things 8)
