Pair of brand new rear gas struts boot tailgate £25

I have a pair of brand new rear gas struts which fit Mk4 & Mk5 Polo's (6N & 6N2) and any other model which is the same fitment. These are perfect if yours are stiff or if the tailgate isn't rising all the way up on its own or just if yours are looking tatty. They cost way over £50 from the dealers for a pair so grab a bargin. £25 delivered. Any questions or offers please contact me.

Also with a bit or work could be altered to work as bonnet struts or may be the same.

Quite recently? A couple of months ago.
I tested them and they workied fine?
Maybe where they haven't been used for a while they just need a bit of use to free up? I found them a lot stronger when I replaced mine?

They are very strong ill give you that.
They basically go up to halfway ish (just above head height) then stop and need a push then they rocket up. If you bring the lid down to chest height, they go up past the place they stopped before quite violently.
You still got the receipt by any chance? Considering getting them exchanged at the dealers.

Sorry mate, no. It wasn't me that got them originaly.
I am suprised that your having trouble. I'm using a new pair and they ork perfect and did fit both. Stupid question but are GTi tailgates the same. It is just the spoiler isn't it.

I see. Ye they are identical. Any ideas on what to do? Its a bit annoying to have a boot that doesnt open properly lol
