Hopefully tuesday im an apprentice and can spray with ease and prep up, shape up repair its just the blending of silver that im not 100% on so my teacher as it is is helping me with the blending and general spraying after work in the oven,

I was seriously mad when i found the dents, But then happy with my exhaust!
Goin for the flush rear boot aswell after iv got the main paintwork done, loosing the black mk2 badge!

I don't like the look of a completely flush boot. Everything flush bar the vw logo would look good I think.

Really, I think loosin the badge and wiper will be alot better at the rear!

Why u gettin ur bonnett resprayed? Stonechips?

Yeh wiper's a given.

Yeh there's a few stone chips I'd like to see rid of, nothing serious or immediate though.

Dont lose the VW badge...its a statement - take that off, and its just another car without a make.

Exhaust is similar in design to tomos old one. I'd be interested to see how the noise compares.

Yeah i no wot u mean about the badge but i think the flush clean look is a go ahead iv got the paint so gotta use it up lol!

As for the noise its deep like a rally car is the closest thing i can describe it to, just my viper makes a racket so cant tell exactly but wot exhaust is tomo running, its like a motor bike can really, small as in slim like!

Oh and its not loud alex its normal until u start reving away like a yobo but its more rumbly than anything and it suits the car tbh! Nice single exit suits the gti better than a twin in my opinion, nice and tidy!

Well shes all resprayed and polished looking mint now, took me around 10 hours for everything to be done over 3 days and well my whole front end up to the doors is all resprayed and my rear quater and passenger door!

All blended wich was the hardest thing to do on a silver motor!

What ya think of me skills lol!

Nice work, quite hard to tell from the pics. Is it a perfect match?

Looks good Craig. Only thing I'd suggest is getting the roof strips black aswell - it would give you smoother flow on the black roof, but the paint job looks very good.

If you know how to do it, itll come out better than someone paying to have it done!
