What are your views on this car, I know its not vag. But I got a test drive being booked for this car after the 9th, debating and thinking of buying it later in the new year. £14,000 for the titanium 5dr (top model) variation with a 1.4 16v (insurance group 6) with a 80BHP output, seen it in the flesh, sat in it and liking it. Will have red trim with redish purple paint work as the leather variation is abit lame. Looks like this if I do decide unless I find something better:

What do you guys think? Maybe suggest something better for that price and around that insurance group?

How can you leave VAG!

If you like it though get it. Does it matter what others think. Personally I'm not a fan of fiesta's, only the ST, minus the viper stripes.
Still very common and quite a few other I prefer but mechanicaly you cant go wrong with a Ford.

14k! It'll be worth 10k in 6 months time. The only way to buy a fiesta is a 1-2 year old ones. If I had 14k to spend, it would go on something a lot more economical (diesel) and more powerful (diesel) and probably bigger/more reliable (german).

I don't mind it, looks quite nice.

However 14k is a lot for an 80bhp car. Power for Pound that's pretty shocking!

£14k.....!?

madness...what are you reasons for that car?
your after a cheap to run car with low insurance group ye?

there is no point spending £14k on something like that....but a mk5/6 1.4 16v and put £10k in the bank!

how old are you? live at home?

Get a TDCI with Zetec kit. Probably more economical and more powerful.

Exactly.

Just seen the pictures too and dear me that car is hideous.

The new Fiesta is funky, and dare I say it, more interesting than a Polo

In fact, I had a previous model Fezza which was a TDCI on holiday, and it was a very pleasant car to drive, well-specced and comfortable. And it was fairly nippy to boot. I wouldn't mind one as an efficient daily.

A possible alternative could be the new Seat Ibiza? I saw a fair few of these in Spain and they look really nice as well 8)
