Cleaning

The time has come to get some new cleaning products, been using whatever I picked up first from halfrauds for awhile now. Its time to get some stuff to do the job right what do people recommend? Am after everything from snow foam to wheel sealer

tut tut, i use it for wheels and engion bay. not the paint.

Aint used it on the paint. Going to get a full detail done in the next few weeks. £150 should be worth it

As far as I'm aware you must never use kitchen products, such as fairy liquid on a car. Fairy liquid contains salts, corrosive to wheels.
For products i'd recommend taking a ganders at Detaling World, plenty of info on there.
I bought some Turtle wax ice yesterday, gonna give it a go on the golf tomorrow

Always been a fan of AutoGlym products myself, swayed a bit more towards McGuiars recently though

I like the autoglym stuff too, nice and easy to get your head round what your buying in the store lol, microfibre cloths and the foam applicator pads are a must too imo.

Autoglym stuff is OK. It's better for interior cleaning more than anything,

This may sound simple, but what do people use, or do to clean all the dust and muck from in and around the door hinges and sills etc...cos drove to spain, got immensely dusty, and well...not sure what to use to get it off without soaking the interior with water...(same with engine bay)

I did all mine with some engine degreaser mate, sprayed it on to get rid of all the white grease the dealer applied when selling it, then scrubed it around with a brush and rinsed off with the hose. Do it a couple of times if need be but mine are nice and sparkly now

Megs all purpose cleaner is good for that. dillution 4:1
