I'm gonna get my standard bbs wheels refurbed on my gti and was wondering where i could get new bolts and the torques of how tight they have got to be tightened?

you can get new Bolts from Justmatz or splitrims.co.uk

Bolts are to 25Nm any more than that, and they will snap
Also bear in mind that, as justmatz bolts are stainless and not titanium, they are not as strong, therefore the teeth will dissapear if put under too much pressure!

Make sure you use a good quality locking compound on them as well....otherwise they will either vibrate our or corrode inplace...

is a sealant between the centre part and the outer rim necessary when your building them back up?

It helps stop the two metals corroding, and therefore fusing together, plus makes sure its all watertight.

VW sump sealant or Vauxhall sump sealant. Loctite do an all purpose which is also suitable
