As far as I know, there is no Saxo V6...

There's a Clio V6, but not a Saxo.

The fastest Saxo you can buy new is the EVO180 (it has EVO180 written in massive letters down the side).

Normal Saxo's shouldn't be too much of a problem for the GTi, but you never know what's been done under the bonnet.

They shouldn't out-handle yours either as standard...

the EVO 180 is pretty quick.

you will have known about it if it was a Clio V6, massive arches and 18" wheels are a give away  and with a 3l V6 in the back they do shift some.

It could also be a conversion, although the only v6 Cit/Pug engine i can think of is the 2.5 from the 406... now this is a squeeze getting it into a 306 so i would have thought it impossible in a Saxo.

Or it could just be a tuned VTS with badges on?
