how low would you go?

im after a set of coilovers for our gti. but so many kits available.
how low have you lot gone with 15" wheels?

any pictures ????

also. what are them kits like on the old e-bay for a couple of hundred quid?

ive gone 120mm with 15inch wheels, all depends on what ET, width and size tyres you have mate, and what stance your after

oh and that was on FK Highsport coilovers, best Kit by far for cheap money if you ask me, iam sure quite a few people will back me up on this one ;) but if you after a budget sset then get a philJ one off club polo for about 200smackers

Rimstyle probably your best best for the FK highsports but there around £400

or the PhilJ kit is on www.clubpolo.co.uk mate ;)

BTW i notice your name is redtop? what car have you got that in?

Don't bother with the coilovers on clubpolo mate, waste of time. Plus you can get them for cheaper on eBay, same ones:

Make an offer of £150, and rumour is they except 8)

You can get stupidly low riding the OEM 15" wheels, it looks better if you get some 20mm spacers for the rear, and 10 for the front though.

Here's a GTi down around 100mm, maybe even more on the front:

Perfect stance 8), but notice how much the wheels tuck under the arches. This is why it's better to get spacers also

ive gone around 80mm all round and it sits perfectly and i dont get any bump steer at that height as if you go too low you will get no end of bump steer and inturn ruin the handling of the car
