My mothers 9n was running fine until she said i needed to drive it to see if there was anything wrong with the gears. I've never been so scared in my life.

The clutch is shaking so hard when pushing it down or bringing it up... more than ABS brakes when you slam them.

Also it will making a f*****g huge racket putting it into reverse.

Anyone got any idea of the problem?

I suppose the first question should be which engine is in it?

its an 05 reg... didnt think i'de see much wrong with a german car in the first few years

Sounds very strange, could be the friction material is breaking up or delaminating, or the springs that absorb vibration have broken

Sounds like the clutch or flywheel (or both ) are a goner mate. I'd book it in your dealership, if its fairly low mileage you be lucky to get a warrenty contribution or if you have any extended warrenty on from purchase???
