Youngest GTI owner

So who is the youngest GTI owner on here? im still 17 with a 1.4 match 6n2, but want a gti soooooo bad, am saving every penny, working as much as i can so when i turn 18 and with a years driving under my belt i can afford one.

ahh cool, lots of young ones like me then, what was the insurance like on u 18 year olds if u dont mind me asking?

Mine was £1200 a year at 19 on my dads insurance, me as a named. Generally if your 18 years of age, I'd take on anyone that offers you £1500 or under.
