does anybody else have the problem of there car sort of bouncing over bumps?
if i go round a corner and hit a bump it throws the car and unsteadies it. is this due to my coilovers?

Sounds like you dont have enough damping... can you adjust the rebound on your coilovers?
Having said that... if your springs are too hard regardless of damping you could be getting axle tramp.... but you would need fairly hefty springs.... or big bumps to do that!

Deffinately sounds a bit odd... As he said above.... whilst you are at it... check that they have not leaked any hydraulic fluid...

the springs seem fine. had the car in at vw the other day when i got tracking done, they never mentioned anything wrong with the shocks.
Whats the best way to look myself?

Coil on the right this has collapsed and all the pil out it. So this is how it will look if any of yours are like that, the one on the right is fine, just the fact i think FK are pish, and they rust far to easy and all the paint flakes away of the springs.
Not sure on your's TBH, could be a number of things, if a leaking coil you would here them knock like f**k going over bumps. my one certainly did.

Can you send them back to FK for an overhaul?... Perhaps ask them to put a slightly heavier oil in them?

Sounds like its purely just the set up. Mine has always done this and there isnt a thing wrong with mine. Its purely down to the dampening and the ride height.
To be totally honest, go for another brand Coilover, like KW or weitec...much better overall than FK in regards to performance and build

How low are you?..
It is possible that the camber at the back (and to a lesser extent, the front) is badly out due to the fact you are quite low.... That would also give a bouncing sensation as you go around corners.. Camber wedges would sort that one....

front camber should be okay tegwin as was done a fortnight ago. the back is quite low. perhaps im best trying the wedges before considering new coilovers?
Where is the best place to get the wedges?
Thanks
