Gti xenon bulb

Hi people,

My bloomin xenon bulb seems to have blown, can sombody link me to a correct bulb?

D2S bulb. can get them at hids4u.co.uk

They generally dont just blow though - get the ballast tested before you get anything new

Mine went the other day, thankfully i had a spare one from an SLR headlight lol.

That site alex recommended is prob the best i have come accross online though.

will i have to take the bumper off to get the light out, i might aswell do the seal aswell

To get the headlight off, yes you will have to but if you are just changing the bulb, you just need to take the air intake off and unscrew the back of the headlight - quite easy.

Changinf the xenon bulb is actually easier than changing the side light bulbs!

Did my righ tone in about 5 mins outside blockbusters lol.

There's really nothing in it, once the casing's off it's a case of unplugging the sidelight, or unscrewing the xenon bulb housing.

sorry to bring this back up but the problem fixed itself then it broke again so i think dodgy ballast. got another one, is replacing the ballast a light out job?

Well its held in by two screws, but they are located at the back bottom of the unit, plus there is a wire to plug in underneath, so Id strongly suggest removing the headlamp.
