1.0L Question

might seem a bit of a stupid question but i get told different answers so im a little confused

i have a 1998 mk4 polo 1.0L and i wanted to know whether i have:

a carburetor
single point injection
multi point injection

I'm not to sure about the engine side of things

i might say this slightly wrong but its basicly how the fuel gets into the engine

Yeah, it injects the fuel just above the intake valve right? But why is it called multi-point?

Multi-point fuel injection injects fuel into the intake port just upstream of the cylinder's intake valve, rather than at a central point within an intake manifold rather than at a central point within an intake manifold, referred to as Single Point Injection.
