9n Engine Question???

I have a 1.2E(55)....
Whenever I rev the engine the It sounds as if there is an induction kit....
but I have had NO induction kit in the past or plan to have one....
Anyways, took it to VW and they said it is a normal sound
Is this true????

Lol depends on the induction kit
If VW say its normal then im sure its fine. When i used to drive them at work, they did have a kinda throaty tinkly to them

Well its a bit of a strange noise....because my painter thought i had a induction kit under the bonnet......which I didn't.....it seems like the throttle body is sucking to much air.......
But if it was...would it fire an error on the dash board?????

Ye. All polos have an onboard computer monitoring the engine and exhaust system
If it was too much, youd get a light on the dash more than definately.

Good to know that tbh....
Only thing should I bother showing it to VW again as my warrenty runs out on the 22nd...

i have the same with my 9n, if you tap the peddle it makes a sucking noise its like a tiny dump valve he he!
