Hello Everyone,

Im in need of some help and advice.

I just bought this VOLKSWAGEN POLO DIESEL HATCHBACK 1.9

http://i406.photobucket.com/albums/pp143/arsenalhero/

It came with these 17" wheels, I went to Halfords to purchase some mcgrard nuts but they didnt have any that fit.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on where i can some and what size i might need. I know sod all about cars. So im learning.

ALSO.... Im new, I am after the bright xeon lights what model bulb do i need?

One last thing.

After having the car for two days, i noticed i have the common fault of the rear wiper leaking into the boot. (ive seen the guide) and think its the same thing. Ive cleaned the hole but nothing. Should i go to VW to get it fixed or a local mechanic?

Many thanks for any help.

Alex.

welcome, car lookg good. get it lowered though :) lol

i'd go to vw for the locking nuts. be about £25 and just tell them the reg of the car and they'll get the correct ones.

with the boot i'm sure you could sort it, just remove the inner plastic and have a look for a disconnected/split tube.

the bulbs are H7 for dipped beam (normal driving lights.

Just wanted to say thanks for the speedy replies to my questions.

I was up till 2am checking out what peoples done to their cars.

I'm really feeling the 9N's FK Angel Eyes. ( The white car in the showcase is tight! )

My question. Is it a bit chav to get them to replace my current standard lights. Or should I go for it. I do like em.

I have a small budget to blow on the car, I would really like to change the car interior, ive checked ebay it's got NOTHING. Is it a case of getting the car recovered or can i do what i did with my last car, Pug206 and buy a new interior with seats of ebay?

many thankns for the help lads, it's appreciated.

interiors are rare for our car tbh. it's easier to get them for a golf or porsche etc.. and making subframes to fit out cars.

if you like angel eyes get them, they look nice tbh and clean but there for BMW's lol - just me though. if i found some cheap enough i'd have some

what other ideas you got?

After looking at those nice 9Ns. I would like to get it lowered (a little) as i do have some alloys. (not sure who i would go to, to get it lowered)??

I've seen the "Smoked" rear lights on ebay.... very nice. As my car is a very dark blue. So im tempted.

ive just got fitted a nice car blue tooth stereo. So its a case of getting it to look the best it can without standing out too much.

Any suggestion?
Alex.
