Recirc Flap Motor

Hi,
Can anyone tell me where the recirculation flap motor is, and how to get to it, I know it is on the heater box, but does anyone know where?.
Mine is stuck shut... I would like to try to get it open, as being stuck shut means that I have no fresh air coming into he car and it steams up in the rain.
Here are my symptoms,:
Get into car.... turn on ignition, the recirc light comes on ... I guess this means recirc flap is shut, I press the recirc button....... the light goes out, and 5 seconds later it comes back on again. If I put the car in reverse and press to recirc button, the light goes out and stays out, but it comes straight back on again when I put the car into neutral or a forward gear.
