few questions bout the mkV polo

this is my second thread.... my first is in the mk5 polo introducing myself...
anyways, I've got a couple questions.... firstly did the polo come with any computer telling you your average mpg etc...??
secondly.... why do you guys refer to polos olop?? i know its spelt backwards but any other reason?

Answer to your second question. Its just spelt backward no other reason.
I think i will have to take the glory for starting the OLOP phanominome
Nobody else had it in they username when i signed up, might be wrong, but might be right, who knows.

mate people have been calling polos olops since i joined vw 6 nearly 7 years ago!
and no sadly no 6n or 6n2 polo has a mpg computer~!
step up alex perkins tell me his has one! lol

Haha I dont - its something I would quite like to have though. Im currently looking into a new dash from a Golf Mk5 or similar that has this facility to see if it can be added!

Then sell the mk5 GTI dash to me! I'd hate an MPG counter in my car as it would just show me how little I get for a 1.4

Yeh I'd hate one in mine too. It would just tell me "I'm rinsing too much fuel, drive economically!"
