wondering if n e one can help me with a major problem i have.

earlier tonight i went to drive my car, started fine and goes into gear fine came out of my estate and went to put the accelerator down and nothing....... it didnt move at all. the only way the car moves is from the clutch. i got it towed home and now its on my drive.

to put it bluntly my break down are pretty useless in my opinion....

n e one have n e idea wat my problem could be?

i think vag com would help this one mate!

is vagcom ont he internet or have to go to a garage?

most newer cars is just easier to plug in and read faults its just easier that way! vag com is avalible by main dealers and individual vw specialists. some garages have a snap on kinda universal scanning tool that does everything aswell! obvs all depends on price as VW main stealer could charge you £50 just for diagnosing it which isnt helpful in some cases!

yea i get you. my cousin has a uni one that plugs in........ only probmen is he dont live n e where near me....... probably have to get it taken to a garage monday or tuesday....... luckily ii got a couple of hundred pounds saved in my car account so it should cover the cost......
