R32 Accel pedal

i know it can be fitted as there was a guide on here about it , however that no longer works so need a bit of help have bought the mk4 r32 accelerater pedal LHD but cant seem to get it to fit on properly , any ideas?

soak the pedals in hot water, it'll loosen up the rubber so they slip on more easily.

problem is there is only a lip on one side of the pedal for it to hook onto ?:S
