Hi,
seen a red GTI 3-door on a Y for £8.4K . Is this a good deal?
Is red a good colour?
What should I look out for?
Cheers.

Red is a nice colour but then they only made the GTI in three colours, black, silver and red and I think all three colours suit the car very well.
Mine's black and it can be a problem sometimes, the dirt shows up more and so does any slight scratches. I think you should go for it, not many red ones around...but then again, there aren't many GTIs around!

Mine is black too and i have to agree with cyhliu that the dirt show up far more obvious than the others.
BTW, we have blue GTi in Macau.

Yeah, I've seen some in HK on the HK club sites...nice...in the UK they only had the three colours that the original Golf GTI were available in.

Red

nah, you want a silver one mate. I hear they're faster and handle better than the red ones
Sounds like an OK deal providing the mileage is average/low. Wish we could have had a blue polo gti. Was it in the same colour as the Blue Lupo GTi's we get. They look wicked in blue.
