UK-Polos Yearly Calender?

Post by alexperkins »

Hi All,

Seeing as Briskoda, and various other forums have a yearly calender, with each month being a different members car and such, I think its about time we did our own.

Now, I need to research into this, to see how they have done it, but if we did a yearly calender, would people be interested in entering photos and purchasing a calender?

Thankyou!

Alex

it does work but there is always friction when certain peoples cars arent on the calender!

we did a tidyvag one and it was really cool, just lots of arguements about who was on it.

as long as mine makes it there will be no arguements

i would definetley be interested.

Best thing to do probably would be for whoever wants there car entering into the calendar shoud post it up, and then let everyone else on the forum vote for the 12 cars for the year???

I've got a Lotus one from MLOC which I visit.

Basically it involved entering your top 12 cars from a gallery of images which only a member can enter 1 of their cars images from. The List is tallyed up, with the top 12 going into the months calender. This allows a wide range of cars and none of the same car, we also had a giant meet up of over 80 Lotus cars for a big photoshoot which was entered into the calender however i'm aware how dificult it would be to do this!

deffo. if everyone enters 1 pic of their car and then like the photo comp pepole vote for their top 12. the top 12 pictures are then posted up with a vote for whichever month.. e.g. a car with snow on it for a winter month and one with the bright sun for summer months..

get it sorted alex

then it shall be done. I think thats a great idea. Can have a collage page too maybe on the front or the best all rounder for the cover. This could work so well!

Right, let's get this moving, if were quick about it we can get a calendar out from Feb 09 to Jan 2010. If not we'll have to wait til next year.

First thing's first we need to sort out which pictures are going in, here's a thread where you post your pics:
