Other option is to get a set of 16" BBS RXII.... Any one know of a set going any where for a fair price?!

Wheel refurbishment is never something you want done in a day. And for a proper job it's never something that you can get done as a mobile job in a day.
The standard procedure for refurbing RXIIs is to strip the rims down, and polish them up. With the centres painted and laquered or powder coated.
I imagine powder coating is not something you can do out of a garage. And painting and laquering would take more than a day because you need to build up layers of paint and wait for them to dry before applying the next layer.
Stripping and polishing the lips also takes time, and to ask for them all to be done inside one day with the lack of sunlight we get nowadays is a bit ambiscious.
On top of that the wheels needs time to stand and harden so that they don't get damaged in they're early stages of drying and being soft.
Best bet is visit some local scrappies, see if you can pick up a pair of steelies to run for a few days whilst your wheels are being done. Or try and DIY them.
I can dig out some places around the Newport area if your interested?

Ask Gareth at Diamond Shine.

I got a quote from him before for a polished lip and black centres. I've copied his response below.

Hi Nick,
For a polished rim and black center would be £320 but I'll do it for £300 for a set of 4.
As for removing the tyre all that is needed to be done is breaking the bead which I can do in the van.
all work carried out is at a place that suits you. all I need is to plug into your mains supply with 1 plug.
any other queries don't hesitate to contact me
regards Gareth

That's not bad, the price is a little steep but for a mobile job you can complain. Was that for a paint and laquered black centre then? how long did estimate it would take?
