Do you mean how to get to the speakers?
Or have you got a Beta unit and want to wire in rear speakers?
Getting to the rear speakers can be easy and is a matter of popping off the door handle, unscrewing what’s behind that, and prising the door panel away with your fingers.
I'm not 100% how to do this, but like I have said 100's of times.. buy extra door clips.. you will probably need them!
I *think* the rear speakers may be just screwed in not rivets, but if you do have rivets you can drill them off and replace with normal screws.
However, if you want to wire in speakers you will need a shop to do this unless you can or want to and you need the speaker surrounds (directs sound into the car) you can get these from VW, they're like rubber/plastic
Note: Anything you want to take off in a vw will have torx screws and you'll need a little kit like this:

Well I'm planning on getting a 1.2 Twist which has a Beta Radio an 4 front speakers.
So My plan is to get a Gamma Radio, then buy a set of upgrade speaker kits from VW for fitting at a audio specialist.
Do I need much else for the shop other than the speakers themselves?

If you're going to get VW speakers probably a good idea to get the surrounds like I said above and the extra door clips, they're only pennies.
Other than that, the shop that will fit them should supply the wire and screws etc.

Ok cool thanks,
Could you give a bit more of a detailed explanation on what the "Speaker Surrounds" are?
I take it the extra door clips are for just incase the guys at the audio shop break the clips so they have new ones to put on?

The surrounds are just things that go around the outside of the speakers so that when the panel goes back on, the sound goes into the car instead of everywhere. ( this is not a good explanation sorry

) But they clip on.
And yeah the clips break easily, always best to have about 15 spare if you can.
Sorry I can't be more help

I just wanted to know how big are the rear speakers? What's the OEM size of the speakers for the rear doors?

I didn't think that a BETA could power rear speakers?

And it can't! I'm going to buy the new ALpine CDA-9831 as soon it arrives to Portugal!

The importers told me it's expected to be out here in this month!
