im wanting to see how 8's sit on a polo preferably a gti with an offset of 35

Your in luck mate! This took a fair amount of diggin.

These are.....

"The wheels are RH ZW1's 17" by 8" all round. If i remember right the front offsets are ET 35 with the rear on 30mm adapters (ET 60 wheels) giving me overall offset of ET 30."

This is quite a handy calculator Jeff if you are looking at wider wheels.

Theres been alot of changes to the polo mate, il have to update soon

The wheels are off atm thow ive split them because im having the dishes all polished back up mint, and new colour for the centres aswell as new tires.

Ive got a lot more plans thow

they look class, ill order my wheels tomorrow i think, i shouldnt, but think i will

neil, do your wheels still sit in the arches, or do you have poke?

only it seels the front sits out further than the rears in the pics????????? and the rears are a lower offset, so if anything should sit out more

The wheels have poke all round mate, and the rears do stick out more cus of the lower offset. The piks just dont show this very well.

This pik shows the rear poke a lil better, even thow the front wheel isnt straight.

This is the only other pik i have from the front mate, the rear tires had more stretch than the front (due to different make tires) so its hard to see. I will be having equal stretch all round once ive got new tires.

No way! the 8s would've been awesome.

looking at the back of that GTI, it's ET30 17x8's and they dont really stick out...makes me wonder if the 17x8.5 ET30s I've been looking at would be alright, wonder if they'd be ok on the front...
