hey just a quick question,
Somewhere on here i have seen a picture guide on showing you how to fit coilovers. i am ordering the huttuning ones, any feedback on these would be good aswell. i would just like to have it printed out so i can look at it as i am doinf it, if anyone would be able to find that topic anywhere, would they please link it up.

There you go matey, good choice on the coilovers i'm running them myself on a 6n.

Beware for a bumpy ride though, and soon enough you'll be cursing the government for not sorting holes in the road

thanks matey, how low have you gone? i cover loads of miles aswell mainly motorway, but college entrance has some huge sppedhumps guess i will have to do about 5mph over them

Mine is about 60/70mm on the coilovers all round, I get no scrubbing at all on 195/45/15 tyres (bbs RXii's). Motorway is fine, as the road surface is generally level, but its rural roads where drains, pot holes and gaps are where you'll find the harsh ride. My college has some speed humps, generally I go about 2mph (riding the clutch) so not to scrape or beach

Im sure im running the same one on my polo, im about 80/90mm on 15s and yeah i now hate the goverment for the state of the roads...

This will come in handy for the weekend. Should be fitting mine at weekend when i get them through.

I run them on my GTi and can't complain for the cost! Think they're quality value for money.

I think there awesome value, especially with a 2 year warranty. Did you fit them youtsrlf tim?

It took ages, alot of bolts were seized etc.. but it's a straight forward process. Just prepare an hour for each corner, plus twaeking after that.

I'd advise to get new mounts whilst your at it, as it's all out so saves more labour down the line. Wish I'd done that now.

Follow the guide at the top and you can't go wrong, but as I said expect bolts to seize, round off etc. So a fair amount of WD40, decent grips, brake bar etcc are good to have at hand.

Tip for the rear also, keep a track of how the rear mounts, nuts bolts etc come out!

Cool will do. My mate is fitting them with me so if i get problems he will drive me into to town and get parts and bolts if needed. Rear looks easier to do though. Might take pics so it will be easier to remember what went where.
