i had my car washed on sat, when i got home i inspected there shoddy hand car wash work to find a scuff on the drivers side rear corner bump strip. was annoyed but a bit of srp removed most of the blue/grey paint leaving a couple of small scratches and scuff mark..... got home tonight to find the car i suspected it maybe parked outside my house with paint missing off his wheel arch and also some rather suspect flash red paint attached to his arch. will upload pics tomoz on my day off.
what action can i take to p*** this guy off? he has damaged my car not told me and driven off hoping i would not notice
i dont want him to get away with it
if he had of come around and applogised i would not of been bothered and accepted the slight damage.
the fact that he has driven off has angered me!!!
any suggestions?
these are pictures of his car

Confront him mate, he may have been to absent minded to notice. Get some pics up to see the extent of the damage.

definetley go an confront him, in a nice way!

the longer you leave it, he can just say it was someone else and not him and that the paint on his car is from something else

so get on it ASAP i say 8)

had the exact same thing happen to me, my neighbour denied it even though I live in a cul de sac and she has the only red car.... there was my paint on hers and her paint on mine.
I even went to the police station and they said there was nothing they could do, it was on my front wing and I was quoted £250 to get a new wing and respray...
I asked the copper how come they're willing to chase someone down the street for nicking a £10 t-shirt from a shop but wont even bother coming out and resolving something that will cost me £250 to put right.
Basically there's nothing you can do if they don't admit to it or you don't have any witnesses. you just have to forget it and just get it fixed.

I would've thought paint on both bumpers would sway things a little? :?

You certinly need to confront him because he may admit it. Although that is unlikely if he hasnt already.

I would be fuming if my neighbour did that to my car, but if they dont admit it then there isnt alot you can do.

There's no justice these days!

I'd be pissed off if my neighbour did that to me, but if they admitted it then fine. Disgusted if they didn't

ive not seen him yet to have a word. after polishing the area he hit on my car there is no visable damage so not to fussed. more amused that it has messed up his paint work. a little justice i think there.

anyway on a positive note i've bought a 52 plate S3 picking up it up wednesday so ill post up pics.

i can't wait i feel like a little boy waiting for christmas :D

probably putting the gti back to standard so will have some 16" rxii's just refurbed, silver ltd edition bmc cda and ta technics coilovers for sale in the next week or too. will be putting up in the for sale section soon.
