Rolling Road Results!!!

Went for my first Dyno run yesterday!
Results are as follows....
229 BHP
358 NM TORQUE = 265 lb-ft (i think that works out to)
Engine Mods- forge fmic
007 dv
forge tip
tb pipe
APR stage 2 remaps
strut brace, bigger brakes etc etc.
There was a bog standard civic type r (old shape) before me. and he hit 197 (1st run) 199 (2nd run) and 197 again on his last run. Alot of people are woried that the rolling roaders are not accurate... this made me feel a bit better as i know that they are 197 brake as standard.
Nice to see that the intercoolers work..... my intake temps were at 32 degrees where as my friends seat leon were at a massive 69 degrees.!
Any of you guys have any similar results???

MINE RAN 223 BHP AND 277 FT/LB TORQUE
OOPS CAPS
interestingly though, yours pulled 185 at the wheels and mine did 202 bhp
mine also has the milltek, n75j and a nsp powergasket different to yours

Thats strange then.....sorry also have the miltek but no air filter system just standard. So i dint think she did bad and was quite chuffed with the results.
I think all of them at this sort of stage are running about the same to be honest....not much in it by the looks of it.
Still was not expecting 229bhp and 265 lb ft.
Happy with that.

just shows how good that Forge FMIC is.. those intakes temps are fantastic for being on a rolling road.... excellent power figures and without running crazy boost.... bet you had fun showing those Type Rs a trick or two .. lol
dont you just love our little Polos
.... reminder to self... must order that Forge FMIC Monday morning....

more-bhp- yes i do love the polo gti as a whole.....its brilliant.
was happy with results.... guy there said a good boost controler would be a good addition if i was not planning on bigger turbos et etc....this should aid performance. Might do this at a later date though......also apnked the type r on the way home
Up the polo's!!!

boost controller no good... you just upset the me7.5 ecu and it will pull back and possibly put you in limp....
best way round is stronger wastegate spring.. and less use of N75... that makes for MUCH better boost control... but you need another remap for this...
you see... wastegate is set at about 0.3 bar on standard car... N75 adjusts so full boost is approx 0.6 bar... N75 hasnt much work to do so boost is smooth and consistent...
Remapped.... Wastegate still at 0.3 bar ... N75 has to adjust to control 1.0 - 1.2 (or whatever) ... boost not so consitent.. and ECU has to work the N75 too hard...
So... run wastegate at say 1.0 bar .. then program the ECU for N75 operation.. to do just the fine tuning.. like what it is designed for... that is the way it should be done.. but of course it isnt done this way.. because it is much more work than just loading an ECU update...
Its one of the reasons we try to make good software with less boost.. its smoother and nicer to drive... so much more to power than just boost - Fuelling and timing are big factors...
now lets all go blast some jap s**t ... hahahahaha

At least its not that much
more bhp - Thanks for the tip there mate....might just leave it how she is now to be honest. I take it ill be coming to you for fine tuning then lol
