Erm... I did the exact same thing with the Lupo.
Bought some springs, and then descided coilovers may be a better idea for me!
Been on the car around a month after spending around 20k miles on Alex car.
In great nick, only reason why Im changing is because I found the rear shocks were leaking when I replaced them, and by the time I'm done replacing them Id be mad not to upgrade to coilovers!
Looking for what I paid for them, which was £75 including the postage.
I will not take an offer on them, as they were cheap when I bought them and they are still cheap now.
If you want to collect them I live in Maltby which is in South Yorkshire.
I will let you take them away by hand for £70 (my company only costs me £5 for anything under 20KGs)
They are still on my car, so I'd need a couple of days to 'whip' them off so please bare that in mind.

Have a set of Eibach Pro Street springs for sale! (two front and two rear) They have covered around 20k miles, so they have plenty of life left in them for sure. They are very very good quality - so should last for many more years.
These will fit all 6n2s including the GTI and are safe to use on your original factory shocks - only reason I replaced them was because I wanted a lower ride
They *may* fit 6n's also as they are only springs, but this is up to you to find out.
These will give your car a drop between 40 and 50mm - mine was around 43-45mm and the ride is very comfortable - it definately helps on the corners thats for sure!!
They have been resprayed gloss black as the original finish was pickling, but I have kept one of the eibach logos intact for proof of being genuine.
Here is the drop on 15s:

Pics of the springs to follow tomorrow
