i jus spoke to my machanic and ma gear box has gone all the gears have dropped and he quoted me 715 pounds is dat good or bad i dnt knw sum help plz

mines getting there, but i wouldnt expect to pay that much bloody hell

hmm.. sound a bit high, but if thats a rebuild with ALL new internal parts then... I guess you might end up paying that much....

I paid just shy of £700 for mine, and that was for mine to e completely stripped and rebuilt.

yh dats wot happenin to mine iswell and im changein the clutch to the thing is i have been told ma rims need to go so any website or good places i can go to get sum becoz ryt nw i have 17s on ma polo and there way to big and trainin the gear box

Im guessing you were saying the wheels are too big and are straining the gearbox?

very i know but if i want to change my rims some coilovers and spacers will have to be purchesed lool

does your suspension work with such big wheels? Or does the body bounce off the tyres :p
