I have just bought a set of 30mm springs off a mate, they are bright yellow. Does anyone know if or what I can use to paint them black to keep them looking standard
Also could ppl post pics of there car on 30mm springs if possible

Sand down with some 600 grit wet and dry, then primer and spray them with normal paint

Worked for some I did a while back!

I'd agree with the Hammerite idea, these items are high carbon steel - as they need to be to keep their "springyness" - that means that if left unprotected, they will very quickly corrode, this means that they will tend to get small pockets(holes) of "nothing" on the surface which will lead to cracking/shearing and the spring will always break at one of these points. The idea is backed up with what I have seen twice on cars with "freshly" broken springs - ie breaks started at rusted points.
