go with 16's, 17s look crap.
also means your likely to get more wheel for your money.

Tyres for 16's I find are alot more expensive compared to 17's.
Both look good, ive got both sets, but 17's do catch and rub more than the 16's. But the 17's are wider.

I’ve got a set of VW 17’s on my black Polo. In my opinion 17’s look a lot better. They don’t rub with 205 on the front and 215 on the rear (not lowered though).
However the tyres are slight more expensive then 16’s but I got a pair of Nankang NS-II 205/40/17 off eBay for £65 until I can afford some F1’s lol.
Take a look at some original VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda as they fit and you could find a bargain off eBay.

16's all the way dude.can go sooo much low.

17's dont need to be winder tho.can go wider with smaller wheels a would say!!

They will fit becouse they come in 5x100/108 multifit
They are et40 all this means is they will sit roughly the same as your standard wheels in the arch

Inovit Rapid 17"

pcd= 5x100
tyres= 205/40/17
bore size= 57.1
Although the wheels might have the correct pcd, they may not necessarily fit (i think)..It also has to have the correct bore size, so double check with the supplier about that. They may give u some sort of adapter??(not sure)
I was going to get Innovit wheels a while back but found out that the alloys where especially made for imprezas and the supplier didnt recommend them for my polo.

Right, well I'm looking at something this size, any ideas of something similar in style?
