Hi all, bought a set of hottuning coilovers whcih turned out to be ta technics adjustable coilovers from ebay few weeks ago and only managed to get them fitted today.

Having fitted them and taking it for a quick test drive i noticd some very heavy noises coming from front set ups. Seems to be banging of some sort.. the rear seem fine but looking at those the springs seem far to compressed. The rides very bumpy but thats somethign i expected from these budget coilovers, my question to you guys is if any of you have this set do u get alot of clunking noises from them everytime you go over the smallest of bumps??

Sorry for the lack of technical terms but i really am worried that somethign maybe be getting seriusly damaged. Will try and get up some pics by tomorow

Any response appreciated thanks

if you think yours is bad you should listen to mine.

did you fit shortened drop links?
if not then your anti roll bar is possibly hitting your drive shaft.
other than that the clunking is part of them :roll:

if you want a good set just save your cash and get a set of weitecs or eibachs.

im not really sure what exactly is banging together all i know is im pretty sure somethigns not quite right. if i had a decent enough recorder of some sort il try get a recording up and then maybe you guys can tell me if ures is the same.

and also the back springs worry me slightly their so compressed that the coils are actualy resting one on top of each other, the first coil is actualy sitting slightly below the level of the next if that makes sense and this is with no passengers or anythign in the boot;

should i be worried by those?

simon whats the difference with the seat top mounts?
