Hi there ive got a 9n3 and im just running the standard 15 inch wheels on it at the moment with coilovers
with the coilover i can have the car sitting on the floor without the wheels hitting the arches front or rear
and i was wondering if i changed the wheels to a set of 17 by 7 would i still be able to have the car at the
same ride height or would i have to raise it?
Could pictures be posted as well of a 9n3 with 17 by 7 wheels so i can see if there's enough clearance

thanks

Try posting in the mk7 section mate as a 9n3 is a mk7

I know people with slammed 9n`s running 17X7.5 with no rubbing, all depends on the offset

I am running 17" x 7.5J ET 35 wheels on my 9n Polo which has been lowered by about 60mm, and I have one or two rubbing issues when going over big bumps or dips in the road, but nothing serious  You do have to watch that you don't bottom the car out though over unven surfaces and changing angles, as it is easy to scrape...

...Other than that she is great, and I run her almost every day :D

Cheers
