Hi all, i'm a polo mk4 GTI owner living in Macau (hope u guys know where it is). I've drive it since late 2001, its driving pleasure is unquestionable. However, minor electrical prolbems have been ignoring me for the past couple of months. The driver's side window was non-functionable and the A/C just fxxk up last week.
Wanna ask if u guys have similar experience b4 and looking forward to know more polo friends around the world.

Hi there!
Just saw an hour long documentary on Macau. I think I'll visit some day
Anyway, sorry to hear about your problems, but to make things worse, both happened to me as well. Both window motors failed, and the AC has been under repairs for months. Literally.
In the end it's all been fixed but it's been expensive.

Welcome, yeah I know where Macau is, I was going to visit there the last time I was in HK...never got round to it, lots of Casinos and nice European architecture...
Not had any problems with my A/C so far, touch wood, although my drivers' side window was playing up but it wasn't anything electrical but more mechanical, the part that was holding the window was coming loose and so the window wasn't winding all the way up to the top...that was sorted by the warranty...
Hope you get your problems sorted.

Wow, nice to meet u guys here. Macau is really a nice place to visit with lots of European architecture thx the portuguese colonized for 400+ years
OK, my AC problem was fixed after the fuse replaced and the wiring and plugs were tighten (the dealer quote some of the plugs were lose

)
The pain the neck is the driver side window, i have it checked and they quote that the motor within need replaced. However, since the window broke down occassionaly (most during high humid day) i'm sort of in a dilemma of replacing or not. In fact, the motor cost around HK$2000.
