Gear Gaitor for the Polo GTI

Just got priced up at my local dealership,
72 quid for the gaitor, sleeve and gearnob. fair price? just wondering if anyone got it cheaper elsewhere?!
And also on the subject of buying, i saw someone on here with GTI mats on their polo,i asked for them at VW but couldnt find any, but just the plain black ones or Black with various colour pipings around the edges. Which are about £48. Been searchin through endless threads but just cant seem to find the GTI mat? Anyone knows who it is or where i can get them?

I didnt realise there were specific GTI ones... mine are black with red piping...... You could get some made up.... would cost you around £100 for the pair I guess.... Carpet, piping and embroidered logo...

The GTi ones are obsolete now. They cost around £40 for a ful set back in the day I think.
Justmatz will do you a custom set similar for around £60 IIRC.
For the gaitor keep an eye on eBay for a few. Some brand new ones pop up from time to time. Cheapest I've seen I think is about £30.

i'd definetley keep looking on ebay for a gaitor.
i think you would be able to get it alot cheaper

Front mats only can still be purchased from the stealers, 30 odd pound i believe...

hey cheers guyz,, yeah i ordered the front and rear black/red mats. Cost me about £48 in total.
However the ones i was originally looking at was the mats with the GTI embroided on it down the side i believe.
As for the gear gaitor, i guess i will just take a peek on ebay now and then.

Ah so they still stoek the GTi mats?!
The ones your referring to must be aftermarket ones. They didn't make any with the GTi logo on to my knowledge.

As for the GTI logo on the mats, i swear i seen it somewhere on here i will find it and show you guys!

Ah spot on, I thought they ran out ages ago.
There's no doubt someone has a set with the logo on, there was just no OEM mat with them on. it's something easily fabircated by an aftermarket company.

yeah I have gti on mine but they're from justmatz, originals just had the red edge
